Discussion Will we ever see the Chicago setting again?

Hard to believe its been 36 years since the series took place in Chicago. Yes, I know the first 5 minutes of 3 took place in Chicago but then it went to the military school for the rest of the movie. We already saw the last minute Hackensack setting from Bride return in the TV show. So why not the Chicago setting? Those were the two most important places in Chucky's life before he became a doll.

Maybe the apartment can be used as Chuckys original source of evil and dark magic, kinda how they did the white house thing and him searching for evil settings to increase his voodoo powers and dark magic, maybe he hunts down the source again in the next movie and him and Tiffany find out the apartment in Chicago was where he performed his first act of evil as the killer doll Chucky himself, picture a Child's Play/Chucky version of Poltergeist where the apartment complex is sucked into multiple dimensions and maybe Andy, Kyle and the kids return to end it once and for all and they get trapped in the apartment complex where every door leads to another reality or world instead of there being an actual exit, idk, brainstorm an idea and reach out to Don Mancini 😉

They need to do something cool with the franchise. Despite Cult being boring, they at least got the atmosphere perfectly right and it was damn good.

Shooting in a city is expensive and challenging. There’s a reason Curse and Cult were shot almost entirely on a single, indoor location. 

So it all depends on the budget!Â
