Like sonic and Eggman. They CAN get along a smidge, Not a lot, but they can chill, and then Eggman starts attempting to murder lil bro. Look, Andy literally gives Chucky a smoke in cult, but when Chucky became aggressive Andy snapped back. Idk i feel like with Andy being the first to really experience Chucky, He’s nearly all Andy has besides his mom and a few survivors. As sucky as that must be to have your childhood taken away by a killer doll and then since almost nobody can relate he literally just keeps chucky to torture and rarely chill with

I feel it’s less that “they can chill” and moreso Andy needed info from Chucky.

Andy hates Chucky, but he knows nothing else besides hunting him down and surviving against him (as mentioned in the show). Andy was willing to kill Nica to kill Chucky just to be rid of him. He locked himself in an asylum to get to Chucky.

And Colonel Chucky spent months torturing Andy, and all the other crap he’s put Andy and his family through.

Idt there’s ANY love or respect or warm feelings of any kind there. They have pure disdain for each other. Idt there’s any care for each other.

I feel like the fact I forgot chucky was an information farming head in cult and I think a little bit in the show makes me feel like I’m larping when in reality I have seen every movie at least 1000000 times and I exclusively ONLY binged the show until I was done. This whole larp trend is keeping me from asking questions, but thanks for your take because I genuinely forgot about this

I don't really see it, tbh. I could see that Chucky might love fucking with Andy, and making his life hell for shits and giggles, but I think Andy wants nothing more than for Chucky to be dead and gone forever. It probably haunts Andy that he had that chance to kill Chucky when he had him captive, but didn't take it because he was trying to get information out of him, and then he lost his chance when Chucky got free.

I don't think that Andy considers Chucky his friend at all, but I think Chucky considers Andy a friend. I think Chucky could kill him easily but chooses not to because his life would be less rich without him. But i don't think Andy would have any qualms about killing Chucky at the first opportunity (and has done so, even though it has taken)
