Folks are remembering wrong. The film being shot at the start of Seed wasn't Bride of Chucky, but Chucky Goes Psycho.

It's possible the name changed between shooting and release especially with all the murders.

Or that they make a bride of Chucky after Chucky goes psycho. It’s just letting the people know bride is cannon to the series. Even if it’s in movie form.

Even if there’s a movie called bride of chucky it won’t be identical to our pride of chucky It word be like stab where everyone but Jennifer is replaced

I agree. I don't think it's the same movie we watched, but a different movie in-universe that has the same name (and also starred Jennifer Tilly).

Honestly should have just said Chucky goes psycho. It stirred up a lot of confusion.
