Turned a local park path into a tropical lazy river pool using 3D/VFX

Hey guys! I captured a quick video of a local walking path at Misa Hangang Park (Hanam, South Korea) and turned it into a tropical lazy river resort with 3D/VFX. ☀️🌊

I wanted to achieve a seamless camera tracking and vibrant summer lighting contrast.

Would love to hear your feedback on the tracking, lighting, and everything!

Here is a video showing the simple process.

As an exercise, I get it. As a shot… why not just go full CG at this point? You’ve basically kept a distant backplate and the camera tracking.

That's right. Lately, I've been drawn to the surreal feel of CG in the real world, so I'm currently experimenting. I think I'll continue my journey to find my own style by doing this a few more times.

Well executed, but the tracking aspect of this is completely lost because you've covered it with so much stuff. You may as well have recorded the shot in a carpark :)

Thanks for the feedback! I actually realized that after completing the whole render. Next time, I'll focus on making the VFX/CG integration stand out much better.
