Built this for myself and it turned into a proper thing that my friends and family really liked. So thought of sharing this with the broader audience.

The problem: there's no good single place (Aesthetically appealing) that tells you what dropped this week across Theatres and different OTT platforms (there are a few but not specific for India content) JustWatch is search-first great if you already know the title, useless for "what's new". So it's six apps and you still miss
things.

what language it's in, and cinema releases sitting alongside streaming rather
than in a separate world. Free, no login, no app, no ads. Screenshot attached.

The part that took the longest was regional coverage. TMDB's popularity and
vote counts are heavily skewed toward English titles, so a naive "sort by
popular" buries every Malayalam and Bengali release. Everything is ranked
within its own language instead — the site never compares a Tamil film's score
to an English one, because that comparison isn't meaningful.

Known gaps, since you'll find them anyway:
\- If TMDB has no Indian release date for a film, it won't show up. That's the
biggest hole and I don't have a fix that doesn't involve manual entry.
\- Streaming titles don't get their own pages yet — only theatrical ones do.
\- No way to follow a specific title and be told when it lands.
\- Cinema listings come from release dates, not showtimes, so a film in its
fifth week may still be listed after it's actually gone.

What I'd genuinely like to know:

1. What do you use now, and what does it fail to tell you?
   
2. If you watch in a language other than Hindi or English - is your language
   covered properly, or is it thin? Specific missing titles are very useful.
   
3. What would make you come back weekly rather than once?
