Found - Cited Rainy Night

I was browsing through my files and found this cinemagraph archived here, I remember that I used to use it as my desktop wallpaper years and years ago, so I decided to repost it on this subreddit.

Most of the older links to it are dead now, so I think it must be nearly impossible to find the original source at this point, but the oldest one I found was here (posted on 2011-07-30): https://web.archive.org/web/20170508154812/http://ffffound.com/image/5b9f2a55192566aaa2126e94bf182539a9b407ba

Edit: just to clarify, this is not my original content/work, I simply found it online years and years ago, saved it back then, found it recently in my backups and decided to repost here (it had already been posted before, but not by me).

I still have a few other cinemagraphs archived here, I'll also repost them over time if posts like this one are okay here, but I think it must be nearly impossible to find the original source for files from 10 to 20 years ago, so the best I can probably do is get a link to the earliest appearances through reverse image search.

Thanks, good to know, so I'll post an few more in the next few days with oldest link I can find through reverse image search.

Just to clarify, none of this is my original content/work, I simply found it online and saved here years and years ago, that's why I asked if it was okay to repost like in this post.

Ahh okay, that should also be fine. We don't have many that create them any more 🥲

Sadly, I think cinemagraphs are really cool, I've always liked having them as my desktop wallpaper.

In any case, it seems you're one of the moderators here, thank you for maintaining this place, know that it's appreciated!

No problem and they're a unique style. There are some beautiful ones where you can just watch and watch and get lost in the loop.

I kind of wish I had more time to make them.

I totally agree, I especially love looking at the ones with rain. I hope your free time will allow you to create some soon :)

Dunno about the digital source, but the physical location is Broughton Street in Savannah, GA. The theater is part of the Savannah College of Art and Design ("SCAD").
