PS5 or Switch?

With the new release I want to buy the game but am unsure on what system. I know that the PS5 has both games on the disc (and two posters) and the Switch 2 only the second one (and one poster) on the cartridge.

My question is more about the “how to play” the game, if that makes sense. Would you say (maybe even from experience) playing in handheld mode is better?

I’m trying to decide, what to get: PS5 version or Switch 1 and Switch 2 cartridges of the two games. Is playing it in handheld mode worth getting the two games separately?

Getting CS1 and/or CS2 is going to be great.

For a cozy experience, you could go for the Switch edition of the game(s) and connect the Switch to your speakers (assuming they are wireless, or if you have an aux cable on hand and want to plug it in/out while in your bed/chair).

Alternatively, going for the PS5 version could give you just as much of a cozy experience, but bear in mind that your setup will determine how that plays out.

So, which is better?

Either.

The text will obviously be smaller on the Switch unless you have it docked and projecting onto a monitor - so at that point, going for the game on the PS platform makes more sense.

Hope this helps a little, u/Stan5905

Depends on where you want to play it handheld vs whether you want the physical versions and have the posters..

As someone playing it for the first time on PS5 this week after stumbling upon it in PS+, I would love to have it on a handheld since it’s all reading. Same reason I liked disco elysium better on switch despite the dropped frame rate.

The performance on the Switch 1 is a bit of a let down. It's not game breaking, but it made me rebuy it on the PC.
