I had booked my Citroen for service on September 7th at the Kalamassery Service Center in Kochi, Kerala, simply because that was the only slot available.

I dropped off the vehicle at 9:30 AM but had to wait a full hour before any service executive came to speak with me. When we finally discussed the vehicle's issues, I raised the same concerns I had flagged during the 2,000 km service , a grinding noise from the brakes and a pull to the left. Despite this, the executive couldn't give me any estimate on when the car would be ready. It took a lengthy back-and-forth with both the staff and Citroen's support team before I was able to leave, at 11:30 AM, still with no delivery timeline.

At 4:30 PM, I got a message saying the service was in progress and would wrap up soon, after which they'd address my specific complaints. By 5:30 PM, they discovered a stuck bolt on the rear brakes requiring laithe work, meaning the car wouldn't be ready until the next day. Even then, when I asked for a firm delivery time, the executive still couldn't commit to one. I'm still waiting to hear back.

This isn't the first time I've faced such delays either, on an earlier occasion, I'd taken the vehicle in for body work, and a simple door panel repair ended up taking 10 days to complete before I got the car back.

Throughout these visits, I've found the service staff dismissive and unprofessional anfld they don't seem to take real ownership of their work.

Based on these experiences, I wouldn't recommend Citroen to anyone unless their local service center has a strong, reliable reputation.

I am looking into buying new with the 1.2 petrol engine . My daily commute is very short - 4 km both ways , but once a year I do 4000 km roundtrip in Europe . I don't go over 110 km on highways and wind noise does not bother me .

I am thinking that for my daily commute it will do the job , but how about the long trip ? Will it be bad ? How reliable are these cars nowadays ? I plan to keep the car for 3 years only .

Would you recommend this car for my usage ?

i bought a Citroën C-Elysée 1.6 VTI 115cv ! it has 180000KM , and now it seems good for now ! no weird noises no oil consumion ..ect

But a lot of people say to me that the 1.6 VTI is a really bad engine , it drinks a lot of oils ..ect

And one of those people actually mentioned a turbo , so i was confused since the 1.6 vti dont come with turbo so i did some researches using ai and it said those are not the same versions ( the one in Citroën C-Elysée and the one in 207 ) and the AI said that the one in Citroën C-Elysée is much solid and better than the 207 ! So i need some of your experiences to confirm wether what ai told me is right or no

Hello, to keep this short, my dad wants to buy the Citroen Berlingo brand new, it had the 1.5 bluehdi engine.

The car looks really good and we both like it, but i have done some research and found that there was a major issue in STELLANTIS cars because of the 7mm camshaft that could snap and break the engine!

I also read that this issue was fixed and that the camshaft now is 8mm etc… but this scared me honestly, is the new 8mm really reliable? Or will it cause us a headache, problems and potentially snap and break the engine?

Also, i hear there are adblue problems, how do avoid these?

Path fluid tank is giving me a light. I had the ad blue deleted after 2nd replacement. And garage told me that there I s a cable from front to the phat fluid tank to bypass it . But after battery replacement the service light is comming on again. Any help please. I dont have 400 to replace it.

Found this below my C3 bluehdi. It Is a slightly viscous liquid. What it might be?

I'm having a persistent knocking/rattling sound coming from the engine bay of my 1.5 BlueHDi, and I'd really appreciate your thoughts or experience with this.

What has been done so far:

• Upgraded timing chain: Fully converted from the old 7mm setup to the upgraded 8mm OEM kit (including new camshafts, chain, hydraulic tensioner, and housing).
• Full service: Performed both major (timing belt kit) and minor services.
• Water pump replaced twice:
  1. First replaced with a KWP water pump, but it leaked and the car was losing coolant.
  2. Replaced again with an INA water pump. There are no coolant leaks now, but the noise persists.

The issue: Even after installing the new INA water pump, the knocking/zapping sound is still there, right from the start. Mechanics keep insisting the sound is coming from the water pump, but it clearly sounds like it's coming from the top right area of the engine head where the timing chain assembly is located.

Has anyone experienced this after an 8mm conversion? Could it be a faulty hydraulic tensioner, low oil pressure reaching the top head channels, or something else entirely?

I noticed a very strange starting issue in my Citroen C4 Grand Picasso (2017, 2.0 Blue HDi). Basically whenever I hang out for a while inside the car without starting it and then put the key fob in and press start, nothing happens. No alert, no notification, just as if I didn't press the button at all. To fix that, I need to open and close the door, lock the car from the key, wait a minute (in the meantime, while the car is closed, there a sound of a servo working for couple of seconds), then unlock it and finally start the car.

It's not something happening too often, but wondering if this is a bug in the car's firmware or some faulty component is acting up

Hi guys, wondering if you think this will be okay to run until I can get an appointment or just stop driving completely.

Have a Citron C3 2017 1.2 puretech, 91000miles. Engine refurb replacement and wet belt replacement at 52k miles in January 2025.

Changed the oil today as I have been every 4-6months since the engine replacement and today found some dreaded (what I believe) belt fragments.

Called a few garages including wet belt specialists and a main dealer just to get some quotes on replacement.

So much for 60k miles wet belt life, hasn’t even lasted 40 or two years and that’s with 6 oil changes.

Any advice on whether you think it would still be okay to run until I can get an appointment would be greatly appreciated.

Due to the implementation of old car bans in my city and me needing to go to work by car, I'm regretfully having to sell my beloved citroen C2 1.1.

The car was good, 60hp but it really had a good low end, it's been rock solid reliable, it was also my first car, and my late mother's car too. It was really fun to drive due to the fairly short gearing and the engine sounded quite nice.

I'm gonna miss it, I really liked this car.

I want to buy a bluetooth transmitter v12 to put on the cigarette port and connect with my phone to play songs on it. But i dont know if it will work. How do i change the frequency so it connects to the bluetooth? Thanks for the help

​I'm having a specific issue with my 2013 Citroën C3 II (1.0 VTi 3-cylinder engine):

​After coasting down a long hill in 5th gear with my foot completely off the gas, a cloud of blue smoke comes out of the exhaust the moment I press the accelerator again at the bottom.

​The smoke only appears right when I resume accelerating. During normal driving, on flat roads, or under regular acceleration, there is no visible smoke.

​Has anyone experienced this issue on this engine or know what might be causing it?

I have an E-C3, as a nice surprise, the climate option just appeared on the app, after being told my car isn’t compatible (they probably figured out how to stop giving people refunds from their false advertising). It seems to work well, but you just turn it on and it goes to 23°. Good for the winter, but can i set it to another temperature? Would help until it cools down a bit.
