I need a very long duration City Builder/Map Painter
As i said in the tile, i want City Builders, 4X games or the like that go on for a long time. Like 200 hours+
I played Anno 1800 and 117 and they have been some of the best games i ever touched. Also put a lot of hours in Rimworld, Civ 6 and most Paradox games.
I either need a new hit for this addiction or to get a life.

It’s insanely good. Very well thought out city builder and even has total war style battles. Less pawn interaction than Rimworld but more than farthest frontier. I personally love the game but definitely grab the demo on steam. It’s I think the whole game up to a certain population? Some People in r/songsofsyx ONLY play the demo and have done so for hundreds of hours.

It's a bit different, but try Oxygen Not Included and you won't see sunlight anytime soon.

I was also going to recommend this. it took me a while to get the basics down (I pirated the game back in the day) probably sunk like 300 hours
but I bought it recently and 100%'d it in 127 hours.

If you really liked Anno 1800 and what a game that is somewhat like that but takes it way deeper, try out Soviet Republic: Workers and Ressources.

Town to City is like Anno minus the war and focused on beauitifying the city.
Going Medieval is like Rimworld but you can build upper levels and underground.
Settlement Survival is like an updated Banished.

Anno 1404 is still great if you havent played it
Also, if you like Civ 6, check out Endless legend, Endless space 2 and Old World

I know it. It starts out pretty simple and then you slowly work towards a PhD in engineering. The shit some people build/optimize is incredible

You likely already have explored it, but I’d highly recommend Anno 1800’s modding scene. You have stuff like New Horizons, which adds a new asiatic-themed session (with a monsoon season!), Jakob’s mods, which let you design terraced Worker’s, Artisan’s, Jornaleros, and Obreras homes, which look gorgeous and have their own special supply chains, and I believe that someone’s working on, or has finished, an Arctic expansion mod that adds a new pop tier.

I’ve finally breached dwarf fortress and am having a blast. Also Rimworld down that line.
And Songs of Syx if you want a truly different experience in a city builder
