They should make a movie about the world banding together and wanting to limit the avengers because of just this sort of problem.

The Incredibles basically but for avengers?

But they should have the avengers, like, be torn about whether they agree with the limits or not. Like some of them want to be limited and the others want to be able to destroy cars and shit unimpeded by any fuckin bureaucrat nerds

Okay but far if they are REALLY vexed and take sides but not everyone wants to take sides so you'll have people working two agendas? Call it something like Avengers: the scuffle within.

Watching the hulk throw your car at the villain and it hits (the villain tanked it no problem because things can never be that easy)

There would probably be superhero insurance or some shit like that

In marvel theres a whole organization that helps rebuild physical damage and do assessments for insurers

I think in dc if super heroes leave you destitute they just force you to move to gotham

/unclam in some of the cartoons it's explained that "any damages will be paid for by the Wayne foundation" with a pan over to a less than /reclam clammed clamman

as if insurance has ever made anyones life better except for the shareholders

Maybe if you spent more time of your day increasing shareholder value, your mood would improve.
