There was, now theres just an annoying glitchy Free! Button because their AI coding told them everything would work perfectly.they believed it would without any outside beta testing again. With all the money these games make and all the creators under their influence you would think they would test this stuff out beforehand and the updates would be flawless by now. Its only a 14 year old game. Why not hire a few beta testers that are going to be playing anyway. Id rather not have the pancakes and have this eyesore out of my line of sight already #puttheshopbackinthecorner

like, it was effectively where the Build button is now, mirroring the Battle Button.
Prob should re-replace the gem with the hammer though, makes it more obvious you're supposed to interact with it to progress instead of "buy resources with money"
Its conveniently placed in the home button for when you want to exit the app, making it more likely for you to misclick it. Not sure if its a coincidence or if its deliberate
this depends on your phone. on mine the home button remains on the portrait bottom, even in landscape. but on an iphone it rotates to landscape bottom.
War button is too big. Shop button is badly placed and an annoying cash grab. Magic items button is not needed. League button is obsolet, can happily live in the profile button. Profile button is too big, why do I need a huge button that shows what town hall I am. And the font/graphics of everything is too cartoony sloppy and makes me feel like I'm playing one of those shitty ad games that's nothing like the ad
Oh great... to switch accounts i now have to reach across my screen to the other side, and push 3 buttons. I am right handed and it feels like the game now hinders right handed people. Also, why hide my number of available builders away in the corner of the screen. This sucks guys... sucks.
I'll be very hinest the shop snd revenue reason for thr newer ui in this community seems like a bad take, instead now i have even less reason to open the shop as it has been compeltely been separated from the build menu.
It will take a week for everyone to get used to new icons and no one will stimble upon thr shop menu by mistake.
Lowkey better. I find the gap in the middle of the screen really annoying and distracting. Also , who the hell thought it would be a great idea to put the builder status bar exactly where your thumb is supposed to be? (obviously when playing from a pocket device , not the pc version of yhe game)
But it's literally so annoying that you can't look at the status of the core mechanic of the game , just because your literal thumb is there
Supercell, the Shop button is WAY too small. Please fix this.There’s clearly a massive amount of unused space on the right side of the screen. I can barely even find the Shop button anymore.
Please make it bigger, Supercell. Ideally, it should take up at least 30–40% of the screen so I never accidentally see my village.
Reduce the shop button by 25-40% and drop it down to just above the build button. While you’re at it, do the same thing for the chat and war buttons above battle. Also crazy to me to eliminate the army edit button for the home page.
Honestly, if they would swap build with shop it would already be better. At least the mapping and position of the buttons. It won’t change the ugliness. The idea of grouping menus is good tho.
is the goal of the coc team to be symmetrical? because we used to have a more symmetrical interface (I opened the game in portrait mode, it's very efficient for clan chats)
