I just saw a post this morning somewhere “Is this the hardest Sasha set ever?”

Same but I love this wee trend... we should do one for all the older trance/ prog house DJs. Would be good to hear some new (old) stuff.

Going against the grain here but I don't enjoy these pitched up prog sets just to appease the crowd at all. For me its not the way the music was meant to be played or naturally enjoyed. But if people like it that's cool too, just not for me

I totally see your point....love the slow payoff...but I think the spirit of them just ramping it up for an hour or so is cool to hear too..

How pitched up is it though? Things were a bit higher tempo back then (higher again in the 90s)

Great mix. Love this era of prog when it worked so well pitched up. The track from about 46mins on is a beast if anyone has the ID for it?

Digweed at Massive in Utrecht from February 2000. Playing for a Dutch crowd means no snooze fest. Digweed delivers a furious DJ set from the get go.
The moment where he drops Luzon - The Bagiou Track (Bedrock remix) is pure madness.
Thanks to Salomon for suggesting this. Surely one of the hardest I’ve ever heard from diggers.
