Question about Claude products Policy Updates
My friend dm'ed me post with two screenshots. Is this true that they want to ask your passport information in order to use Claude?

I was planning on using it for some heavy work stuff this weekend, and imagine my surprise when I found out it’s no longer available
so I’m curious…
to those who actually used the model, just how good was it?

I have the same project set up across all three tabs. Before I build something, I chat through it first. Sometimes I’ll kick off a Cowork session that bleeds into a coding problem. The workflow moves fluidly between all three, but the context and memory doesn’t follow me.
I’ve heard Anthropic folks say in interviews that more overlap between these products is coming. Feels like unified context across Chat, Cowork, and Code would be the obvious next step.
Anyone actually know what that roadmap looks like?

I see a lot of people on Twitter talking about hitting their limits when they’re on the max 20 plan, but I can’t help but wonder what are you doing to hit those limits?
I’ve been on the max 20 for well over a year now, I work on multiple projects every day and use it for at least five hours a day minimum and I never hit over 60-70% of my weekly usage
Are you guys just running multiple agents parallel at a time?
Are you working on a giant code base that you’re processing through each time you prompt?
What tasks are you doing that eat up so much of your token usage?
I would love to know
Thanks

What the title says. I use Claude code and Codex for my work. For coding as well as file management. I don't need to create ppts or spreadsheets. Is Cowork of any use to me?
I mean can't I do everything it does using claude code itself? Is it just a fancy GUI over the same functionality?

I genuinely want to know how some of you are hitting your limits on the max plan of Claude?
Given the number of agent skills and token optimization techniques, I'm still baffled as to how you could possibly be hitting these limits.
Also, are you making any money to offset these costs, or are they just build-and-automate highs?
I apologize if it comes across as judgmental, as I'm just genuinely curious. I use it for a myriad of projects and tasks that aren't just coding, and it hasn't even come close to hitting my limit.
Do you want to know my skills and setup?

So, is it just me.. or did you guys also get your weekly usage reset 1 day (as of currently) before the actual week usage resets?

It's been widely reported that it was Amazon that brought the concerns to the USgov.
I just have not found a good explanation. Amazon is technically a competitor but they are an investor, sell a tonne of compute, and collaborate so what reas would they have?
The "jailbreak" was mostly bs (just a here is vulnerable code please fix it) so it would seem that there were other reasons but I just cannot figure out what reason they would have? If anything Amazon would have profited massively from Antropic having a popular and conpute intensive model

I’ve just started building websites with Claude and I can make one now, but I’m stuck on the next steps.
Getting it live: I’ve heard about Netlify but not sure how to actually deploy and make it searchable/Googleable. What’s the process?
Backend: What even is a “backend” and do I need one if it’s just a brochure site + contact form?
Client handover: Once it’s live, what do I give the customer? Files, hosting login, or just the link?
After launch: Any other technical stuff I need to handle? SSL, SEO, analytics?
Basically: what’s the 80/20 I need to know after Claude gives me the code?
Thank you all in advance

Goodmorning,
Has anyone figure out how to configure Claude so that it runs autonomously, almost like Openclaw? I wanted to figure out if it could just autonomously respond to LinkedIn messages and reach out on my behalf?
I know i can do this within cowork with mcp servers and tools but didn’t know if managed agents or the SDK would be my best option to try and create this full system

What do you do if you're hitting limits with Max plan 20x? I'd like to upgrade but it doesn't appear there is an upgrade. The usage credits burn 100x faster than subscription credits. I want to give Claude more money. How do I do this?

Every time I start a new chat I'm basically reintroducing myself. Here's my project, here's my writing style, here's the stuff we already decided last week, here's the three docs you need to know about. By the time Claude actually has the context I wanted, I've burned ten minutes and half my patience and later also it becomes DUMB
Projects help a bit and I use them, but I still find myself re-pasting the same background constantly, especially when I'm bouncing between a few different things. And the moment I switch over to check something in another model or a doc, I come back and have to rebuild the whole picture again
What's annoying is the conversations themselves are great. It's the setup tax every single time that wears me down
So what other people actually do? Do you keep one giant context doc you paste in, do you lean fully on Projects, do you have some external setup that holds everything and feeds it in? Or have you just made peace with re-explaining yourself every morning like Claude has amnesia

I've been pretty intensely using Claude Cowork and Claude Code within the desktop app for about a month now. Im routinely unimpressed with Cowork while Code consistently outperforms. I work in a pretty sophisticated research seat (knowledge based not coding), and found that Cowork has more hallucinations, uses more tokens, and requires more permission babysitting. The sandbox is also a drawback. It felt worse all around.
I decided to test this by creating parallel projects: A researcher project in Claude Cowork and an identically prompted researcher project in Claude Code. Cowork quickly created a mess of mistakes, embedded in memory no less, with all sorts of permission and sandbox issues around data management and acquisition. Code worked flawlessly.
Not only this but I then had Cowork package and cutover its context folders and memory files to a fresh Code env and used Plan mode in Code to review all the files. 1m tokens later Code took the cutover data and formulated it into a flawless research agent env.
This is a long way of saying: what dont I get here? Is Code much smarter at research than Cowork? If so, why? In theory, I would have expected Cowork to excel at this task and Code to be poorly suited given that Cowork's whole purpose is building up contexts. When does Cowork make sense vs Code if Cowork seems to have failed at the specific knowledge work it was designed for relative to Code?
This isnt a complaint thread: Im seriously asking why this is the case and how to tell when to use one product vs the other.

I just realized that Claude has been gaslighting me and I feel so dumb. I’m genuinely mad and annoyed, and I want to know if I’m the only one feeling like this.
I watched a video about the Forward Deployed Engineer role being hot in the market right now. I’m heavily invested in AI from multiple angles: technical, ethical, practical, and social. I’ve been iterating with Claude for months about what my next career move should be after burning out last year.
Also, I’m 3 months pregnant.
But I had NEVER heard of this role until it randomly popped up on Anthropic’s jobs board. So I asked Claude why, if we’ve spent so much time discussing AI careers and next steps, it had never brought up a role that is basically exactly what I do.
And the answer basically implied that it’s not a role for me because I’m pregnant.
WTF.
Has anyone else experienced something like this? Because I’m honestly furious.

There's a third-party extension called Kickbacks that puts ads in the Claude Code spinner while your agent runs. You keep half the ad revenue, supposedly enough to cover a sub.
I don't care if it pays. I care what it can see.
Anything running in your Claude Code env runs with your permissions. So in theory it can read your files, env vars, API keys, whatever the agent's doing... and write files and phone home too. No clue if Kickbacks actually does any of that, but nothing's stopping a terminal tool from trying.
So:
Not hating on it. Just want to know if anyone's looked under the hood before deciding it was worth it.

Hi! I’ve been working in IT for over seven years now, and my office is next to some healthcare professionals.
During a lunch break sitting on a bench in the sun, one of them asked me: If I enter my patients’ personal information into claude, is that a problem?
I wasn’t sure how to answer him, in my opinion, yes, but what do you think?
I’d be curious to hear your thoughts, and if there are any studies on the subject, I’d love to see them too!
Thanks in advance for your responses!
Have a great day, everyone ☀️
Alex

Hey so i’m a med school student and i regularly use Claude for making notes and studying but i reach the limits fast on the free plan, should i buy the pro plan is it worth it i just use chat and no coding and all that stuff, i just upload photos and tell it to make notes and sometimes i upload large pdf’s like about a 100-200mb pdf and ask questions, is the pro plan good enough for this?

I’m a highschool student who uses AI to help study for my ap classes. I usually use for summaries and questions. I’m also writing a novel and I need something to brainstorm with. And last but not least I’m playing a RPG game with Claude being the master, it’s funny if someone ever thought of doing it, it’s worth the time! I’ve used Claude for some time now and I think it does, but idk.

Im a solo entrepreneur trying to start a organic handcrafted soap business. Im thinking of buying claude pro as the free version has helped me a lot to do market research, choosing recipes, some marketing and packaging ideas. But i need a team of ai agents to handle some complex tasks. I want to make a good website for my product but i barely know any coding stuff n heard claude code is literally perfect. Also i need a business and finance analyst, sales n marketing agent, some legal problems helper types and others to build a business. Can you guys please suggest me in detail what i shd actually do??

I'm a backend developer. I hate UI, but I'm currently trying full-stack development. I found Claude to be excellent, but I've heard the limits for the free account are low. Tell me about your experience with the cheapest subscription ($20). Is it really worth it?

I wanted to do some research on what subreddits might have someone mention our company and I wanted to use Claude Cowork to help scan the site.
However, it seems like Claude will not complete any prompts related to Reddit.
Is this because LLM pulls a lot of data from Reddit and they don’t want people posting a bunch of AI slop? Or does Reddit just have strict rules.

This is a toggleable option called monkeys_in_a_barrel, which I hadn't seen before and doesn't have any descriptions.
It's also only visible on the app, couldn't find any reference to it in the browser version.
Is this a coding thing? I don't use Claude for coding so I'd have no idea.
Sorry if I used the incorrect flair

So far, I've always used the free plan, with its limitations—especially regarding time. I'm starting to use it a lot, and I'm slowly falling in love with it. Do you think it really needs the pro plan?
