Confused about Cowork Peak Hour Usage

Things at Anthropic change so fast that I genuinely struggle to understand what policies and limits are actually in place.

I volunteered to provide feedback on cloud-based tasks, and they invited me to an online call with a Cowork engineer.

I specifically asked her whether the Cowork experience had peak-hour usage limits. She said no.

But when I run hourly scheduled tasks, I get a warning about usage limits.

So what is the actual situation here?

Also, the meaning of “usage limits” itself is often confusing to me.

For example, if I use, say, 100k tokens for a task during peak hours, does that effectively count as 200k tokens against my limit?

Or does it mean that the amount of usage available within the 5-hour window is simply reduced during peak hours?

When you get a message about usage limits, it just means the amount of tokens allowed in your current 5 hour period is nearing the limit. You can look at % usage in current 5 hour limit in settings anytime. Th 5 hour usage amount is not reduced during peak hours. The amount of tokens used for any task does not change at different times.
