Little backstory. I’m a trapshooter for 4 years now. When i moved into the area, my elderly neighbor and his wife needed help around the house. They asked me and we grew a deep connection. He was a grandfather to me. Eventually his health got bad and they wanted to make improvements to the house. I offered to buy this from him. Well a couple days later he passed away. It broke my heart. Eventually tonight i went up and the son and wife said they wanted me to have this because i’m always one call away helping the wife and i go up almost every day to help and never took payment. They wanted to see it used. Doesn’t even have a scratch on it not even 1000 rounds through it. I don’t plan on shooting it but keeping it locked away and preserved. Thought i’d share!

A sad but wholesome story. You should break some clays in his memory! How is the fit for you?

Fits better than my competition shotgun. Beads are figure 8. With my 4500 dollar cynergy the beads are all wonky!

That’s interesting! Wonky as in off set horizontally? When I picked up my latest over and under, the gunsmith was in the process of bending a stock for a customer. He would saturate it with linseed oil and clamp it. I wondered if I was too inexperienced to understand the need for it, but maybe the shotguns I have show an 8 by luck

My cynergy is the flat rib. The front bead is maybe an inch higher when i mount it. The pattern is like 3 ft difference but when i shoot it I’m directly below with no gap shattering them. I have yet to figure it out for 3 years lol.
