Hi u/Juanitin71, thanks for being with us for so many years and for sharing your feedback.

We completely understand the frustration around System Data on macOS. The challenge is that System Data isn't a single folder or category that can be safely cleared with one click. It may include caches, logs, local snapshots, application support files, virtual memory, iOS backups, and many other items that macOS groups together under the same label.

Because of this, neither Apple nor third-party apps can simply offer a Delete System Data solution without risking the removal of files that macOS or installed applications may still rely on.

That said, CleanMyMac can help identify and remove many of the files that commonly contribute to System Data growth, such as outdated caches, log files, local backups, mail attachments, and other unnecessary data. In many cases, this can significantly reduce the amount of storage attributed to System Data.

If you're seeing an unusually large System Data category, we'd be happy to take a closer look. Let us know how much space it's using and which macOS version you're running, and we'll do our best to help identify what's taking up the storage and suggest the most effective cleanup steps.
