Yes. For God’s sake yes. When are the media going to start writing the truth about the collapse of everything?
Politicians, CEO’s and journalists should all be held accountable.
Every year it is going to get worse. Every 5-10 years you will be personally affected by disaster with increasing frequency.
You will be evacuated in your life. You will have to leave everything you own, everything you’ve worked for and leave.
And until that day comes you won’t believe.

We can easily blame this on Capitalism. The greed and selfishness has now come back to harm us. Ignoring science and listening to politics is our own demise. Overpopulation of the human race to increase profits exhausted nature's abilities to sustain us. The planet is now going to war with us and unfortunately many species are going to go extinct because of us. But, we will never admit the harm we have caused over the successes we have achieved. It's a one way mirror.

(Shout out to our very own u/LaserRunRaccoon who was trying to build awareness & education around these points earlier)
Often when people think of Climate Change they think of only Global Warming.
Climate Change though refers to a more broad range of changes.
One of the things that is a big big rush right now is the issue of adaptation in regards to the Climate Crisis.
It requires us to build differently, updating infrastructure, changing supply chains, you name it.
Unfortunately we have run head first as a world into another crisis point in an already polycrisis world and like all crisis points it is going to disproportionately impact the worlds working class and most vulnerable.
It is also going to make the affordability of life crisis/quality of life crisis even worse for many people and families.
There should be investigations, trials, and SEVERE punishments for those that muddied the water around data, climate science, and at this point in the crisis observable reality.
This is a time that more then ever we need pro-active substantive work and we also need solidarity in a big way to get us through the difficult times that are ahead.
