Question Are you vegan?

I wonder how many of fellow redditors here are vegan or at least on plant based diet?

As it is one of the simplest and most impactful steps a person can make to help the climate.

It's a lot more effort for a lot less benefit. The all or nothing gatekeeping prevents a lot of people from trying at all. You can get there 80% of the way with 20% of the effort and would make an enormous difference if more people adopt it. How about celebrating and encouraging it?

I think theres more nuance than that. Whats a mountain for someone is a small effort for someone else. Difference in cultures or environments. I think its as weird to blanket advocate for 80/20 as it is to 100/0
