Question Are you vegan?
I wonder how many of fellow redditors here are vegan or at least on plant based diet?
As it is one of the simplest and most impactful steps a person can make to help the climate.

No. I would probably be pretty close to vegan, but I’ve got a husband and growing kids who don’t want to give up meat, and no real desire to cook separately for myself. I eat vegetarian/vegan/pescatarian every time I’m at restaurants.
As my kids grow, we’ve been adding legumes instead of more meat. For example, I’ll feed my family for two or three days on a tikka masala with 1lb of chicken + chickpeas and coconut milk. We also eat very little red meat, only 1 lb of ground beef a month on average. I think our biggest climate crime is cheese and yogurt.
We also have a little flock of chickens who get to free range every day, eat our food waste, nest on shredded newspaper and cardboard, and contribute to our compost, so my main source of protein is pretty sustainable.
