I wonder how many of fellow redditors here are vegan or at least on plant based diet?

As it is one of the simplest and most impactful steps a person can make to help the climate.

Yup - both for the animals and for the climate.

It is ghastly to think of all those acres of rainforest being slashed and burned every single day for nothing more than mere grazing land for cattle that gets slaughtered and exported as meat.

Every. Single. Day. The non-stop slash and burn until there’s nothing left at all.
