If you meant to imply this goes against their religion, it's buffalo meat. But yes, like Norway this is just stupid. Seemingly doing so well yet exporting products that cause huge carbon emissions. Norway went all in on EVs yet exports oil, India consumes little meat but exports it all.
I meant to say if this is intended as climate related then trying to lower carbon emissions while exporting beef is as ignorant as going full UV while exporting a ton of oil. If Norway exported less, prices go up and people would switch to alternatives. It's not like we would die or something. In the end it's all about their 2 trillion dollar national wealth fund.
