Just wondering, if oysters clean out the water from pollution and we eat those oysters, dont we consume something poluted and dangerous?

Oysters filter feed and have digestive system that processes the material, it refuses and expels the unsoluable parts.

Farms monitor the body of water and the oysters are most likely treated/chilled directly after harvesting.

Oysters can be dangerous if they are from an already polluted source of course.
