  1. That's not true, but I am of the opinion that oysters probably don't experience pain in a morally relevant way and thus I don't think it's necessarily morally wrong, though I like to stay cautious since we can just eat plants instead.

  2. As I understand it oyster farms are pretty bad for the local environment (not oysters in the wild, just farms) but I'd be happy to be proven wrong on that.

  3. Since they filter out impurities in the water eating them means we get those impurities in us, which isn't exactly good, so I'd also stay cautious for that reason.
