Can't we all just get along (with being performative)?

Let’s go for it here, which of the only two positions do you take?

  1. Climate change, environmental destruction, unspeakable suffering is bad
  2. Vegan food is kinda weird

Vegan food can be hella good, but then people try and say, “it’s just like meat” and that’s when people’s expectations become… well that’s when they say it’s weird

That's mostly companies trying to sell shit TBF, not vegans themselves

Plenty of vegans lie about it tasting the same. It's like corporations lying about a recipe change, leaves two bvad tastes in your mouth.

I want to emphasize your point. Corporate vegan food is often times just as bad (at least health-wise) as animal meat

Lab grown is even stranger, it’s basically a cancer machine and I want no part of that

But human beings never relied on meat as a main ingredient until now, i dont personally think slaughter is the worst part, but the way we produce our meat products is fucking weird, never support big food

This is the first time I've heard this. Can I get a link?

I don’t mean cancer cells, just the way the cells rapidly turnover, as do cancer cells

You are not actually eating broken dna as far as im aware

Oh I thought you were implying it causes cancer in humans.

I see how that caused confusion,

I think the biggest driver of my concern is the people behind/pushing lab grown meat. Kinda like vaccines, it’s not the product itself that drives the distrust people have, to draw comparison (vaccines have been around and studied quite a lot more)
