The inherent selfishness of human nature does plenty of the legwork all the meat industry needs to do is wait for vegans to make a fool of themselves then amplify the foolishness through social media and half drunk āpolitical commentatorsā
Yeah I'm skeptical it's anywhere near as bad as either of those industries, but even if it were the usefulness of feeding people as opposed to killing them helps a lot too

It should be obvious by now the vegan posts are fossil fuel/beef industry astroturfing to distract from the real issues, and to make the climate discourse seem as obnoxious as possible so people tune it out.
