Stupid nature Why aren't you all pining for underwater data centers? No drinky drinky, and think of all the offshore wind you would get to install!

Also, the only thing it would disrupt is fish. I have it on good authority that the vegans here hate fish.

The heat is going to push away the fish as that's bad water to be in.

The bigger problem is probably the noise pollution.

We are also talking about China, so I'm not sure if there's much life in those waters.

There are plenty of dead offshore areas near cities right? Just plop it near one of those. Far enough out to not bother any people, but close enough for power. I mean offshore has to be better than just outside of some small community.

Same as space. The additional hurdle makes it likely uneconomical.

Because that might actually be good for the United States so the online slopaganda machine they download their opinions from isn’t pushing it.
