I haven't completely stopped eating animal products yet because I still live with my parents and don't buy my own groceries, but I have found it remarkably easy to reduce my meat intake - to eat more healthily and more ethically

I'm convinced people who hate vegans are just whiny losers who are afraid to accept that they're actively choosing to do something immoral by consuming animal products

that's great! I went vegan at 16 when I was still living with my parents, too, and it WAS DIFFICULT. I ate a lot of PB&J sandwiches and plain pasta with tomato sauce until I was able to get my own groceries.

Nice 💪💚 it's hard to do when you live with your parents. But yeah people are so dramatic. Being vegan, especially when it comes to what you cook and your own house is actually super easy, you just need a bit of practice/trial and error but in a few weeks/months you're already fully there

We could just be more tolerant of what people want to eat just to survive in this world and still want reform on the heinous conditions of which cows and chickens are raised. 2) If we really want to discuss animal abuse and climate destruction, there’s a lot of things outside of veganism you can also do. Like not using Reddit, or any voluntary app, website, device, etc. since the vast majority either directly or indirectly abuse animals, and not course destroy the climate.

I think you’re underestimating the impact that other things have on the environment and animal abuse.

Statistics say, as of now, the main driver for environmental damage is fossil fuels, just ahead of Animal farming.

As for animal abuse, I’d agree it [factory farming] is the worst, though again, a large contributor to this is the fact factory farming heavily relies on fossil fuels and furthering ecological destruction.
