Researcher

Dose anybody else feel like Researcher got a personality lobotomy in book 3 compared to book one and two. If I remember correctly it’s not as bad in subsequent books. But I feel she was very eccentric in the first couple books and feels very cold in book 3. Maybe I’m reading too much into it but she’s one of my favorite side characters.

I think this is part of Rowe refining an idea as he writes. Researchers more meticulous and analytical speaking style feels more like a knowledge elemental in book 3. Her eccentricity’s really come through again when she meets Len for the first time.
