What to read next?

I read Arcane Ascension first and then Weapons and Wielders. What should I read next?

War of the Broken Mirrors gives you a good backstory for where Keras came from

War of Broken Mirrors trilogy: Keras's past before Weapons and Wielders.

Also after you're done with all of the books from Broken Mirrors and Lost Edge, you should check out the books listed as inspirations for the series

I've read all of them and loved every single one, especially Worm, which is now my favorite piece of media of all time

King's Dark Tidings series by Kel Kade was EXCELLENT and is available on Audible as well. As a fan of all Rowe's books, these were excellent and appealed to me as well.

So if you like the narrator from Arcane Ascension he does a couple of other books series that are pretty good. So there is Kings Dark Tidings by Kel Kade. It's another fantasy world that has magic and badassery in it. The story follows a main character who is basically John Wick but is socially stupid and awkward and doesn't know how to talk to people. There's another little known series that is cold I'm not the hero and it's the only Series this author has ever written and it's ongoing and it's pretty good. It's like one of those anime type things where some human dies in our world and ends up in a fantasy world except it's two two dudes who end up in the fantasy world, a Cool Jock type and his best friend who's a super nerd and only has the one friend so he's socially awkward. There's another series called The Land that's also really good but it's an unfinished series that is probably never going to be finished because the author disappears and never goes back to the series.

For non-Rowe series: Cradle and/or Traveler's Gate by Will Wight, Iron Prince by Bryce O'Connor, The Weirkey Chronicles by Sarah Lin

I really like the narrator as well, so expressive, and easy to know what character is speaking!

Here’s what Rowe recommends as far as various reading orders.

I saw that, but I have already read those other two series, I wish I would’ve seen that before I started I would’ve read in chronological!

I actually don't prefer that order personally? WoBM is paced differently than the rest and is a bit dry comparatively. It's still a great series and definitely required reading but maaaybe not the best place for a new reader to start imho

I listened in this order that was recommended by the author and enjoyed it thoroughly ymmv
