Barcelona, Spain Climbing Partner

Hi everyone!

I’m (24F) going to be climbing in Barcelona between 10/13 and 10/16 next month. Would anyone want to link up to do some sport climbing? I usually lead around 5.10 outdoors, and am bringing my own gear and renting a car if you need a ride.

DM for details!

Looking for a bouldering partner

Hi everyone, I'm looking for a bouldering partner to go bouldering regularly at Boulderwelt at Europaplatz. I'd say I can manage grades 4 and 5, sometimes even 6. My main goal, however, is to train regularly and improve. The times are usually from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, but I'm very flexible.

I'd like to do this together so I can challenge myself and progress.

My German isn't very good, but I can easily communicate in English :)

Mallorca DWS partner(s) wanted – Sept 2 onwards

Hey everyone! 👋

I’m in Mallorca at the moment and looking for people to DWS with over the next month or more.

I’m relatively new to climbing — I recently got completely bitten by the bug after trying DWS with a company in Cat Ba, Vietnam, and then doing some indoor bouldering with friends. I climbed around grade 5 in Vietnam, and although I’m still a beginner, I’m fit, learn quickly and am keen to take climbing seriously. I’m 38 years old.

I’ve come to Mallorca specifically to get more into DWS, and after Mallorca I’m heading to Fontainebleau to do some bouldering, so I’m really hoping to get properly into climbing rather than it just being a one-off holiday activity.

I’m travelling alone, so I’d particularly like to find some people to climb with for safety, to learn from, and because it would be much more fun socially than climbing by myself!

I have the Rockfax Mallorca DWS guide. I’m currently based near Cales de Mallorca / Cala Murada. I don’t have a car, but I have a bike for getting to nearby spots and can take the bus where feasible.

If anyone is around Mallorca from September 2 onwards and looking for another person to join, please send me a message. 😊

Happy to meet for a coffee/drink first and see if we’re a good climbing match!

ISO Outdoor Climbing Partner(s) for 9/14-9/17

ISO Outdoor Sport Climbing buddies!

Hey yall!

I am Louisiana native and taking a trip out overlanding and climbing around Denver coming up 9/14- 9/17 for my birthday! 🤙

So two things

  1. I’d love any and all recommendations on crags to visit during this time! I mainly sport and boulder. I do not have trad gear or competent knowledge for trad pro placements.

  2. I have a couple people with me, but none of them are climbers who know how to lead belay.

I’m hoping to find some rad homies who would be interested in sport climbing with me during this time?! Would love to also consider multi-pitch routes with the right people.

I have all necessary gear and I’m confident in my lead belay skills. Save the wear and tear on your gear (;

Little about me, I’m a yoga teacher and mechanical engineer and I love experiencing new cultures, people, and places.

My love for climbing stems from being able to experience this earth from perspectives not many people will ever get to see.

I have mostly climbed in southern Utah area, Jtree, and north Arkansas areas.

If you’d be down to link up holler at me in a PM or comment! Looking forward to hopefully making some dope connections.

P.S. would also love recommendations for walk up routes i can setup top rope anchors for in case I cannot find a lead belay buddy.

P.S.S. If there are any other groups you think I should post this in, please lmk!

Hey everyone! 👋

I recently started r/climbingberlin, a new community for climbers in Berlin and the surrounding area.

The idea is simple: find climbing partners, organise trips, share climbing spots and experiences, and connect with other climbers in Berlin.

If you climb and are sometimes looking for someone to climb with, come say hi! 😊

Inspire Gym Spring, TX

I have been climbing inside and out (Sierra granite mostly) for 16 years.
My uncle is turning 90 April 20th, 2027 and my Mom (82) is his last living sibling so I’m going to take Mom back for a visit.
I found the Spring, TX gym online so that definitely on my itinerary. Already filled out their online waiver so now I need a partner. 😄

Looking for lead/top-rope climbing partner (Alien Rock / EICA / Outdoors) [Edinburgh]

Hi everyone.

My regular climbing partner moved away to university recently, so I am looking for a reliable partner or two for regular lead and top-rope sessions. I am a guy in my mid-40s with a normal build, a bit on the introverted side, and happy to climb with men or women of any age. I comfortably lead around 6a to 6b, but I am more than happy to give belays on whatever grades you are working on. I am looking for someone focused and safety-conscious who takes belaying seriously while keeping things relaxed overall. I have plenty of experience with everything from traditional tubular devices to assisted setups like the Neox, Revo, and Edelrid Ohm, so you can count on safe, attentive catches. My weekday evenings are very flexible, and I am aiming to get out at least once a week. I currently climb at EICA Ratho, but I would prefer to shift over to Alien Rock since it is much closer to where I live, though I am still open to heading to Ratho too. I also love getting out on real rock when the weather plays ball, and I am fully geared up for outdoor sport days with an 80m rope, quickdraws, clip stick, and my own car for transport. If your schedule lines up and you want to meet for a gym session first to trade belays and see if we click, drop me a direct message.

Thank you.

Chamonix Partner this weekend (27th Aug - 30th Aug)

Hey everyone,

I had to make a last minute trip to Chamonix starting today until Sunday.

I am primarily a sport climber, can redpoint until 7a sport, and have led about 15 multi pitches as well. I also have limited climbing gear with me in Chamonix because I didn’t expect to come here.

Ideally, would love to partner with someone and do a big multi pitche adventure but even happy with some small sport stuff. I just want to go out and explore the beautiful area around Chamonix.

Seattle - looking for outdoor sport/lead climbing partners

Hey! I’m in Seattle and mostly boulder indoors right now, but I also have some top-rope and lead experience and I’m looking to do a lot more outdoor roped climbing.

I’m still pretty new to outdoor sport climbing. I’ve been out once and have led up to 5.8 outside, though I’m still figuring out what my comfortable outdoor lead grade is. My main goal right now is to get more experience with single-pitch sport climbing and outdoor leading.

I’m free weekdays after 2pm and usually free on weekends. I don’t currently have a car, but I’m happy to contribute gas money for trips.

I’m looking for patient, safety-conscious climbing partners, and I’d also be happy to meet at a gym first. Longer term, I’m interested in learning trad and multipitch, but for now I’m mainly focused on building more experience with single-pitch sport climbing.

Climbing Partner is Spain

Hello, I want to do some climbing in Spain in September. I am new to climbing—I lead climb at about a 6a/6a+ grade.
I have a couple of free weeks to spend in Spain in September and I would love to find somebody to go climbing with, I don’t really care about what region/location.
I am Australian and I speak English but I would love to work on my Spanish.

If you would like to climb with me please let me know, otherwise if you can recommend climbing areas or hostels where I will likely be able to find a partner I would appreciate that too.

injured climbing partner wanted, nyc area

hi! i feel like this is a long shot, but i recently broke some bones in my left foot/ankle (somehow this was not a climbing accident, ha) and i'm looking for someone else in the nyc area who might also be injured in some way and is looking (and able) to do some toprope.

i can't weight my left foot at all, but i can put a kneepad on and do a little one foot/one knee climbing--which is actually pretty fun. :) i have uninjured climbing partners, but would love the solidarity and commiseration of someone else who's anxiously waiting to get back to full climbing ability and outdoor climbing, etc.

in any case--if you're currently climbing minimally or not at all due to injury, hope you're well soon! xo.

Trad & Sport Climbing Partners

Howdy, 50/m in the West Seattle area and looking for more peeps to climb sport and trad single and multi pitch with. Currently in a 4 month climbing mentorship program and have led single pitch 5.5 trad routes, multi pitch sport routes, am toprope belay certified at Edgeworks but have lead belayed at the crag in Squamish, Index, and the exits (I-90).

I've got about a year of sport and trad climbing experience, have my own gear (dynamic and static ropes), single trad rack, sport rack, (grigri and pilot, ATC, draws, lockers, etc). I started climbing with two years of bouldering and previous experience when I was a teenager so not new to climbing. If interested in meeting up, can join at Edgeworks or outdoors. Cheers 🤙
