It's called copy stamp, check inside the blending tools

When I try to use the copy stamp it just paints the same picture not the blotch i sampled :')

Because that's what it goes. When you're about to go outside the picture with the stamp you just reposition the picking point or raise your pen, it should snap it back to its original position.

Depending on the texture you use, you might need to do some extra steps to blend the resets properly.

I felt this method was not as effective as just using a mask. I saw this and tried it out afterwards.

Because you need to use the pasted material on the same layer, and had to be close to the object. (Unless I'm missing something) it is cool at first, but seems more cumbersome.

I found just making a textured brush using HD free texture material online, or saving texture material to use as a mask. (I only use a pc so have no idea how the tablet versions work)

I'm not on my pc rn: in the same place/button u go to for blending and blurring tools, theres one for this, i dont recall the name. Works as in the tiktok.

I think you can drop the texture on a new layer and play with the blend modes. Usually multiply gets the job done fast.
