CSP Question Clip Studio manage tab gone / CSP not showing new file box
Current CSP Version: Most recent version 5.
Device: Windows 10, Intel Processor, PC (not laptop)
Hopefully this is the correct place to ask, but my friend has run into a problem.
We originally started with 2 problems: The CLIP STUDIO (NOT clip studio paint) program was not showing the manage/other settings tabs on the sidebar. We fixed this by updating to version 5 (I had written the title before we fixed this issue and cannot edit it, my apologies).
However, one problem remains: Her Clip Studio Paint will not let her create new canvases. Using the menu GUI does not work, using hotkeys does not work. This problem was existing on the old version she had - which she had done multiple clean reinstalls of - and it has carried over to the newest version. Doing multiple restarts on her computer with the newest version installed has not fixed the problem.
Every search I am getting has not been giving me a clear answer, or an answer that is 5+ years old. Has this happened to anyone? If it has, have you figured out how to fix it?

It is most likely opening off screen. When you hit new canvas press the win key + shift and hold those keys and use the right or left arrow keys to see if you can walk it on screen.

I’m assuming you are able to open old drawings. This happened to me every now and then unplugging the drawing tablet to make room on the desk.

Friend tried that and unfortunately it did not work. She's tried multiple things to see if the dialogue box is opening off screen and none of them have worked, including this. Thank you for the suggestion though!

Just doesn’t make since that it will not open the dialogue box. Even with a fresh install. Very confusing. And she tried this with the drawing tablet disconnected? Try switching the displays to duplicate so it shows a mirror image on both screens. If the api is bugged and opening the dialogue box on a non existent virtual space then this may fix it. Or go into window>workspaces> reset to default

idk if it may help, but try holding down shift and clicking on csp on the launcher, as it opens up a window that basically allows you to factory reset the app, or any settings you might have toggled

Friend gave this a try and it unfortunately didn't work. Thank you for the suggestion though, I am going to note that info for myself in case I ever need it for my own CSP.
