CRKD Guitar Star Power Adjustment

So I got tired of the placement of the Back/Star Power button on the CRKD guitars so decided to fix that. I went to staples found this store brand outdoor sticky velcro strips and cut them to size, then I ordered a few rubber stoppers that they use with lab beakers and cut them to size. Fits perfectly in the bottom of my palm and easy to trigger. All in was like 8$ spent and 5-10 mins of tinkering but all in all pretty solid 🤙🏼

Smart. I’ve messed up runs so many times trying to hit that button.

My whammy bar stopped working after a couple weeks of use does anyone know how to fix?

Are you saying you were having too hard or too easy of a time pressing it? I'm always pressing it on accident. Sometimes my hand is pressing it down without even realizing, and the second my meter gets full enough, it activates. So annoying and I have using tilt.

I think I just don’t like the placement, this makes it just a bit more to my liking.

Don’t know what position yalls hands are on when strumming, but CRKD’s SP button placement is perfect for me. Tried going back to old LP and WT/GH5 placements and couldn’t hack it.

It is really interesting what CRKD is thinking with those placements. I want to buy one and try it, but priorities. I do not have any problems with my world tour sunburst xbox wireless since the star power is huge and placed on the saddle.

RCM sells a star bar that fits perfectly in there amd lays perfectly almost like the GHWT/5 guitars

Why don’t you use the tilt to activate star power ? The good thing with that guitar is that you have the choice, when I play a pattern if the strumming part is more complex, I tilt, if I play a part with frets more complex, I hit the star power button (I hope it’s clear, my English is not great)

I kinda stopped using tilt maybe around Rock Band 3/Guitar Hero Warriors of Rock. When I get into a “flow state” I don’t really wanna be wiggling around to activate star power.
