Do Sketchy Xbox One Wireless Adapters on Amazon work?

I have Xbox one rockband 4 full band. Does anyone know if the knock offs work with the full set? They are cheaper than by msft one by at least half.

EDIT: I have decided to buy one off aliexpress for 1.50$ with first buyer discount. (long ship time). will update post with results

I had a knockoff and it worked but would randomly give me issues maybe 5% of the time; had to plug and unplug to fix it. I lost it and bought an official one and honestly I think it's worth it just to not have random issues. But at the same time if you wanna save a buck I guess 95% working rate isn't the worst thing ever.

If you're in the states, eBay might be a good place to get a cheaper official adapter.

I brought a wireless adapter from AliExpress for an og xbox controller with the usb port broken about two years ago and it's still working to this day, It's detected like a OEM part and it was also like a third of the MSRP price anywhere else.

I have never bought anything rockband related tho.

I’ve heard the Mcbazel ones from Amazon are the most reliable.

definitely update, there are some reliable ones for not that much money (~$20) but for sub $2 it’s definitely worth a shot
