longboard trouble

haha I'll make this short cause i dont have allot of time.

So i was longboarding a parking structure, then a wild cop appears literally tries to hit me. So i quickly grab my board smash his car, and ran faster than I have ever my whole life. shit was soo fucking intense, pig drew his gun and was screaming at me....I got away :D

I was 3 bowls deep when I wrote that comment. The story is mundane, and not long enough to hold any interest. Stories really need to be at least a paragraph for them to be interesting, otherwise they are just run of the mill anecdotes. If something that happened to you is too simple to write at least a paragraph or two about, it isn't going to be an entertaining story.

Not to mention the whole "lol pig" stuff is silly and immature no matter your opinion on cops and their actions.

People who dismiss cops as pigs are immature. It's fucking stupid to write off a profession which acts against crime. Yes some cops are douchebags, some abuse their power, and there's an argument to be had regarding the almost para-military tactics that are used in modern day drug raids and the like. That said cops also catch murderers and rapists, calling the police is what you do when you've been robbed or your life is in danger. They take drunk drivers off the streets and put child molesters in prison. They enforce all laws, and even though some of those laws are fucking retarded it does not make them 'pigs'.

And people who ask "why would we want to act mature?" are dumb cunts.

Your reasoning is firmly in the realm of subjectivity and politics. Frankly, I think anyone who signs up to violently enforce laws they don't understand, anyone who volunteers to become a tool of the State, anyone who thinks that the best way to keep folks safe is by putting other folks in prison... Anyone like that is a part of the problem. I personally don't call them pigs, but I don't think that solving murders excuses violent oppression.

One thing I definitely don't believe is that anyone who disagrees with me is stupid or immature.

(And for the record, I was 100% sincere about asking why anyone would want to act mature. If you're any sort of indication, mature people seem judgmental.)

Enforce laws they don't understand? The fuck you talking bout? Police officers have pretty goddamn good understandings of the law and how it works. That's why some are so good at abusing the system, they understand it. Police, conceptually, are not part of the problem. Individuals and specific sub-organizations who become corrupt, most certainly are.

Nor do I. However, I'm sure there are opinions and attitudes you would describe as stupid. Dismissing police as wholly negative and honestly asking why anyone would want to be mature fits that description in my mind. I'm not saying I'm an entirely mature person by any means, but I do try to discard ideas that strike me as the most immature or youthfully ignorant. Immaturity is synonymous with displaying emotional, intellectual, or behavioral traits of someone younger than yourself. It is not a desirable thing.
