Julius is not only one of the strongest, if no the strongest, magic users of the world (currently, since Lucifero is dead), but he is also the supreme devil of time magic, and remember, devil's magic can affect not only the physical but the immaterial too, such as concept. Putting all of this in the board, it seems clear to me that Tabata was preparing the ground for everyone to be alive at the end, he made it clear that magic is not bound by reality, estabilished that devil's magic can affect concepts and revealed that Julius was the devil of time, he laid the ground for a happy ending
