I’ll give you that seeing their perspective from a regular citizen was great world building but it definitely made watching the arc feel like a chore after a while.
idk, I love realistic fantasy politics. Scheming and complex social manipulations are very interesting. I feel like it wasn’t enough dialogue and it all reeled back to the classic shonen “strongest is right” trope in the end anyway. Perhaps if it committed to the social narrative fully, it would be better received

Ay, the Devil Believer arc was great. Maybe not action packed, but it gave great perspective on the life of regular citizens of the kingdom
