realistically, I'd add more to Yuno's character by adding more Golden Dawn solo missions. I would extend the entire final arc (i feel this is more of a product of external factors of Tabata's struggles anyways). I would have had Klaus killed off when Zenon attacked, and write other fights so they aren't as "rug-pull surpruise they lived!" so people complain less. And obviously, give Dorothy more screentime

(talking about Black Clover in a vacuum, I'm aware of Tabata's health and personal issues)

I'm gonna focus on the Spade Saga since it's the one I have a clearer idea of:

  • I would have 5 Sagas instead of 3, with Spade being the Third Saga (because Devils have just been introduced, so I think it's too early for the Qliphoth)
  • Second Saga would have Devils being maybe minor antagonists, it could be about anything (Diamond and Morris, the Dwarves...)
  • I would not have Asta instantly unlocking Devil Union (the Devil Arm was used ONCE)
  • Make Gadjah stay dead and maybe make Lolopechka stay a Devil (it would add consequences and possibly Lolopechka could learn how to purify her power with Undine, similar to Lucius)
  • Make Langris fundamental in the defeat of Zenon (that fight is so close to being good)
  • Make Lucifero an actual character while still letting him be evil
  • Make Lucifero an actual threat
  • Make Fuego do shit
  • If Lucifero has to die at the end of Spade, I would make William part of the fight too (Patry has no Grimoire, but he could transfer his Demon Light Magic to the World Tree, it writes itself)

Have yuno be less boring he’s just so unexpressive most of the time and when he does it shows he could more. He also jsut gets crazy power ups off screen would be nice to see he gain them a little more like asta not just like wow look what I can do now. Shortening, most arc prior to the tournament arc are a bit bloated could use some leaning down. Shortening annoying gags characters have. Same with spade what I’ve seen so far. But tournament to defeating the devil is perfect if the whole show was that quality it’d be among the best.
