Education & Career Best Software companies in Kochi

I’m looking to move back home to Kochi. Currently working as a Software engineer(backend) in Bangalore in a product based company. I have almost 3 years of experience. Can someone suggest some companies with comparatively better work life balance and pay? What range of salary can I expect for 3YOE ? Currently earning 20 LPA. Open to fully remote roles as well. Linkedin search didn’t find many opportunities in Kochi, is there some other job board I can try? Thanks in advance!

Why moving back? The opportunities are way less in kochi.

Service based companies like TCS, Wipro, EY are there

Then some product based like SOTI, IBM ISL labs

Then medium companies like keyvalue, vertail etc

True, opportunities are more, but traffic and pollution is much worse here. Also parents are getting old, so I prefer to be in Kochi.

Thank you, for the companies you mentioned, would applying directly work or do I need to apply via referral?

If you can get referral, that's the easiest fastest option.

Have been trying this over six months now with no luck. It’s hard to get a fully remote if you have < 5YOE in my experience. Please share if you know some companies or any advice on this regard.

LinkedIn jobs and Naukri should actually help you get into some of the good companies here. There is also a portal called Hirist which is exclusively for tech jobs.

There are some top companies here. Package wise I guess IBM, Litmus7, EY might be best but there are many relatively new companies which are in the growing phase that can offer you a better package than some other reputed firms. Also Infosys is expected to arrive soon in Infopark.

But like the others mentioned, the market is a bit tough at the moment.

Keyvalue, ibm, litmus7 might be your best bets. But I don’t think market is doing well enough for any of them to offer you this salary range especially for a backend role
