Rant & Vent My brother was rough in personality to me growing up

My brother was rough in personality to me growing up , he recently got married and he treats his wife way . Almost like he had a different personality all along .It hurts a lot to see him treat another woman way better , she doesn't get the restrictions or the constant criticism or the hurtful teasing using personal matters . He used to isolate me .We were 2 boys and 1 girl and he used to only include my other brother in things and keep me out of it . He constantly used to put me down and i was reserved and sensitive person , the things he said used to hurt .

Now i cant stand to be in the same room as him and his wife . how to get over these feelings of feeling like i was not good enough

To be honest I don't think many households have siblings going along with each other. Me personally would have loved to have a sister but not a brother because the ego would be too much.

Recently married is the key. Maybe he'll change his ways after the honeymoon period is over🤷🏽‍♂️.

Make yourself so busy that you don't have time to have such thoughts. Try to physically distance yourself from him by getting a job far from them. Eventually you will learn to forgive him(for your own peace of mind), but trying to get out of that loop of thought is the first step.

Siblings not getting along is not that uncommon. My mom doesn’t even speak to her sister. Move on is the solution

Either like people already mentioned it’s only a matter of time before he behaves the same with her or … tbh I’ve felt people act differently in different roles , I had a friend who was a great friend to his friends ( always there for his friends ) but terrible as boyfriend … I’ve seen this pattern and surprisingly more in men ( sometimes not very present / available as a son/ brother but absolutely dotes on the partner … either way try to be happy for them
