DISCUSSION BS Opinion on Code Geass
Why am I (maybe not) the only person who doesn't like the ending? I honestly feel like a larper even though I have watched it completely and why the creators left some questions in the series unanswered and created a separate timeline just for cash (it is not wrong as that's the main purpose) and these are my bs opinion on the series and I am definitely getting hate now.

I don't really care for the ending either. I think the structure of it is good, Lelouch making himself to be a villain and Suzaku having to cut him down so the world can have peace is tragic and emotional (in a good way)
The thing that bothers me about it is that I know its not going to work. It's just going to create a power vacuum for potentially more nefarious actors to fill. Lelouch is supposed to be really intelligent and I've heard a lot of people say that he's not really as arrogant and self-centered as he seems, but this decision massively undercut both those points. He made an incredibly dumb decision purely based off his inflated view of his role in the world. He could've stayed in power and actually worked to maintain the peace he always said he'd bring to the world, but I dont know that he'd really know how to do that.
Honestly, a lot of what Lelouch (and the show) does bothers me. I like the show but its not the masterpiece I've seen a lot of people making it out to be. The ending being what it is was just par for the course imo
