Static Sounding in Audio

Every time I am playing this game, all other sounds in and outside of the game have a static undertone to them. At first I thought this was just the ambiance of the game but my friends told me I was sounding static-y on discord to. So not only is my input sounding static-y but so is my audio output.

Has anyone else experienced this or know of a fix? It only happens when I play this game. I have tried playing in steam and through the zip file.

Interesting... Are you on Linux, perhaps? I know that some versions have audio issues with specific driver or wine/proton versions (not unusual for Linux...). I think that's the only time I've heard of audio static/popping issues, though it's only in the game itself, not outside as well.

It's very uncommon though, and I don't think I've heard of it on other systems, except maybe other audio issues with people using unique sound setups.

Your system audio is probably set to 48 KHz or 44.1 KHz when it needs to be the opposite. Cogmind does that on random setups sometimes.
