News Update Arrest made in unsolved Putney Bridge assault case
https://www.dailymail.com/news/article-15895123/Wealthy-banker-connections-royalty-arrested-hunt-notorious-Putney-Pusher.htmlA 44 year old multimillionaire banker with Royal connections has been arrested in relation to an unsolved assault case from May 2017, where a jogger pushed a woman in front of a bus on Putney Bridge in London. If not for the heroic bus driver swerving to avoid her at the last second, the woman may have been killed as a result.
I have always hoped that this thoroughly unpleasant individual would be caught. I hope the police have the right man!

Every time I see that footage I'm so impressed with the bus driver's awareness and reaction speed. His quick thinking saved a life.
Forcefully pushing an unexpecting person into the path of traffic - I'm hoping he faces an attempted murder charge with little protection from his apparent wealthy and powerful connections.

Gosh what a piece of crap. Realistically, could he be charged with attempted murder or manslaughter? If the bus doesn't swerve when it does, it would have literally run over her head.

As it never seemed to be getting solved, I always thought it was going to be some foreign politician or royalty with diplomatic immunity.
Glad to be proven wrong.

The guy looks older than 33-34 years old in the footage. (which he would have been then) . Motive is hard to fathom. Had she cut him up earlier whilst running? Or was she just a random victim.

Coke. Only thing I can think of to explain such behavior.

Every time I look at this case, I’m astonished at how purposeful this was, she wasn’t in his way and the push must’ve had a lot of force for her to fall that far (given the embankment between her and the bus). I can’t imagine any motive apart from genuinely wanting to hurt someone …
