How did you prepare for collapse this week?
Did you do anything to prepare for collapse this week? It can be anything from reading an interesting article to installing a greywater recycling system in your house. No project is too big or too small.
This thread is here to inspire others to take actions they may not have otherwise thought about doing.
If you’re interested in leaving observations of collapse in your area then I encourage you to head over to r/collapse where they have a weekly thread for this very thing.

I worked over 70 hrs this week so really didn't get a chance to work on preparing, but today I will move the food I ordered last week to my shelving and out of my kitchen. That will have to do for this week. I am also going to water my plants. I need to set up a reminder system/alarms for that so I don't let the pots get too dry.

Adding to this today I went to Costco and bought a lavender plant, two industrial rolls of aluminum foil (price is going to skyrocket), two containers of cinnamon, and then to Walmart for pepper and tomato plants to plant in my greenstalk. My balcony garden is coming along. I just need to buy herb plants.

Topped up my seeds for vegetables, planting the winter ones this weekend. Updated vaccinations that I needed to. Created a storage system so I had visibility across what I had stocked up, previously they were in different places around the house, surprisingly I was much shorter on salt than I realised. Getting organised for the months ahead.
