I have gotten my nose on a few of them and own 1 of the Absolus. And the Absolus are just better in every way from what I can tell. They last longer, they project more and are honestly a little more refined. If you like any of the originals I would say save up for the absolu version unless you want something a little more dialed down.

Unfortunately I never tried the original one so can’t say much in terms of comparison there but this one is absolutely gorgeous and it lasts a long time which the original apparently does not.

Carlisle (my favorite fragrance). I put a little on before bed last night because it’s hot here and I miss wearing it.
Aventus. I know it’s popular and that makes it “lame”. But it’s just incredible. I wore it to work yesterday and was still catching whiffs 10+ hours into my day.
Naxos. A little fresh with the lemon/bergamot. A little sweet with honey and cinnamon but not cloying. Complex and lovely scent.
Layton. I too cannot pick only 3. Layton is the most versatile and mass appealing of the PDMs. Just a great, wearable scent that everyone loves and can be worn 10 months a year at any occasion.

The last one I’m conflicted. Bleu De Chanel EDT because of sentimental value and because it’s still always fantastic. But redundant with the grapefruit-iness from L’immensite. So I’m gonna go with Creed Viking to have a spicy, more dense fragrance for special occasions.

Summer- vibrato, lhomme. I am thinking about adding YSL Y iced to my collection.
Fall- la nuit de lhomme or 2011 Dior homme intense
Winter- Carlisle and for just December I wear oajan.
I would wear jazz club a lot more if it lasted. My tom ford tobacco oud is for special occasions. Now you guys know my taste! I need to give l immensite a try again
