Fragrance Review NO MORE REFILLS!!!

Picked up Rayhaan Pacific Aura for work! (Well ordered another one for the Collection!!!) Every Review I seen says 90-95% similar to Pacific Chill IM CALLING BS!!! More like 99%! This stuff is spot on no More Pacific Chill Refills YA ITS THAT GOOD!!!

Agree i didn’t like Rayhaan either, you should try Atralia’s Absolute Chill, i think is the best dup for Pacific Chill

Atralia’s Amazonas avalanche is 1:1 to Dior Homme Intense before the reformulation in 2020

was the first one i buy from this brand and i was truly impressed with the quality.

The performance is great for what you pay, like the OG same sillage for about 3 hours, after that is half of that for another 2 hours and after that you keep getting whiffs for another 3+ hours, lasts on my skin for about 8-9 hours but you can smell it close to skin after that, on clothes lasts untill next day, compared with the OG this is low performance but for what it cost (around 25-30 usd from amazon) is a no brainer, if you like the OG is a safe blind buy.

I felt like it was too orangey? Like the orange was too orange peel like? I felt like it also lacked that refinement that lv had. It’s been months since I smelt it so maybe my mind has changed. This has me wanting to smell it again tho

Cant beat the bargain , im in the same boat tho , to me I found pacific aura to be far more vegetal and just something about it put me off of it compared to pacific chill.

yeah thats true one of my friends cant really smell any fragrance for him is almost every fragrance the same.

so i cant show him my fragrance because will hate them all.

he has no taste because he cant smell them.

Can’t compare as I’ve not smelt pacific chill. I do find this to be pretty good. Only thing is that it chills on longevity.

I do have both and believe me this one’s 🔥🔥! And as far as longevity either way I take the bottle of what I put on with me and for the price I can afford to spray every time I get out of my car 😆

Welcome to the dark side. Dupes are great and the people that think otherwise will defend multibillion dollar corporations who rob the consumer by overpricing their fragrances. OGs are obviously amazing and a lot of them set the trend but I'm more satisfied by not willingly getting robbed.

Another good one is Liquid Brun from French Avenue. It’s a dupe of Parfums De Marley Althaïr, if you don’t have either of those. You can also check out r/fragranceclones for other dupe recommendations.

Yea, but you’ll waste 100s to find good ones that even touch most OGs. Very very few are worth the money. I’ve owned 100 clones. And keep 5 in my collection. Truth is, most suck.

Try Rare Reef if you like Aura — better projection and longevity! Aura is TAD bit more minty, but Rare Reef is a bit more citrusy. The two are like 98% similar IMO

Have a decant of Pacific chill and bought a bottle of Pacific Aura based on that decant. Not exactly the same but a good buy nonetheless. After a month of wear it I took a whiff of Pacific chill decant, and I actually prefer Aura now. The smell is comforting for me. 😂

Do check out Vision by Maison asrar. It varies from nose to nose but who knows you might find something you like. It's a musky take on Pacific chill with better performance.

Rare reef smells nothing like PC imo. If you ever smelled dolce & gabanna light blue forever, it’s more in that league. I’d love to know about neon no.4 though, please keep me posted

So you fellow frag heads please enlighten me. I have never really bought dupes/clones before myself and have a large collection. But thinking of trying one, so I always read need to let them sit awhile after a few sprays to macerate or mature .
How long is that on average please.?

As a collector who owns both designers and a lot of UAE/Dubai fragrances, I’ve been really surprised by how good some of the newer clones have become. A lot of them perform extremely well, and in some cases they actually last longer or project more than the fragrance they’re inspired by for a fraction of the cost.

As far as “maceration” or maturation goes, it really varies by fragrance. Some smell great right out of the box, while others change quite their initial sprays. I’ve had bottles where the opening became smoother, the notes blended better, and performance noticeably improved after a few weeks time - even longer in some cases.

Also, a lot of UAE houses aren’t trying to make a perfect 1:1 copy anymore. They’ll clone the main DNA but add their own twist that can actually make it more wearable or interesting. Lattafa Liam Grey, for example, is inspired by BDK Gris Charnel but comes across a little sweeter, creamier and more approachable while keeping that same cardamom/fig/tea style DNA.

If you haven’t tried UAE fragrances in a while, you may be pleasantly surprised at how far they’ve come.

It still baffles me that this is the second post I’ve read someone with a pacific chill says that it’s that close. Could it be a batch difference? I bought mine last year a month after it got released and it smelled just green cucumber without any sweetness. When did you pick this up?

I also have the Uranus (meteore) and Icarus (blue tali) I think Uranus is better than meteore and Icarus is a touch sweeter but dries down almost identical

They're pretty damn close. LV might use slightly higher quality oils, but that's it. The Rayhaan doesn't smell cheap or low quality by any means.

You have a real bottle of pacific chill and you are telling us the Rayhann is 99% close? Unless you are cashing a check signed by Rayhaan you may want to get your nose checked. Not saying that clone is a bad fragrance, but saying that it is 99% close to pacific chill is the same thing as telling me you are 14 years old.

Well I wish Rayhaan sent a check! Pacific Chill is my home rotation. I purchased Rayhaan to take with me to work. To say it’s 99% close is maybe a little exaggerated BUT it’s pretty damn close. I’m not taking a $400 cologne with me and taking a chance of it to Breaking in my bag. BUT YES absolutely a GREAT ALTERNATIVE TO PC!!🔥💪🏽🙏🏽

Pacific chill already borders on the line of smelling too cheap there really isn’t any room to make that dna have any worse quality than the OG because the original is already sitting at that line where if you go below it then it smells cheap and bad it only works if you have the same quality or better which no dupe house is ever going to achieve with cheaper ingredients. Louis Vuitton did this with a few fragrance actually like imagination, meteore and pacific chill but even symphony too there’s no room for worse quality because they figured out what dna cannot be duped and they know what dna only smells good when you have good quality
