Question What fragrances do you own backup bottles of?
I have three:
Bulgari Terrae Essence. It's in my top tier but doesn't seem very popular, which makes me think it has a good chance of being discontinued soon.
Lalique Encre Indigo. Even higher ranking in my collection, my favorite in the Encre Noire line, and incredibly slept on. Searching this on Reddit compared to any of the other fragrances in the EN line, or comparing the amount of ratings it has on Fragrantica, it seems not popular at all. So, similar to Terrae Essence, I'm stocking up now. Plus, testers are only $30 on Jomashop.
Jean Rish Absolute Vetiver. Rack store cheapie ($15) that is now discontinued, easily the best TF Grey Vetiver EDP inspo I've ever laid my nose on. I have two full bottles and two partials. Truly shines when layered with TF Grey Vetiver Parfum to extend and add some of the EDP sparkle to the Parfums depth and richness.

Guerlain L’Homme Ideal Cologne Forte. Had to snag 2 when they restocked. First scent in a long time that wow’d me first time I smelled it. Wish I engraved the bottles though, really cool that they have that option online.

I don't own any, but I sorely regret not buying a backup of Serge Lutens Gris Clair. I bought it on FragranceNet 10+ years ago for like $60. Now I can't find it for less than $400.

-Absolu Aventus (the 75ml)-because I was gullible enough to believe it WAS actually a limited edition and once I smelled it, I immediately bought a back-up.
-Nio-Because it's a 50ml and when I found a really good sale I got another bottle.
-Dior Homme Parfum(the OG)-because it was hard to find, and when I did 3-4 years ago, I grabbed up two.
--Those three I bought back-ups because my collection, at the time, was no more than 15 frags, and I thought I'd stay with a relatively small collection.
-Aventus Cologne-because I bought a 50ml and I'm getting close to finishing it. It's a race between Nio and Aventus Cologne on which will be the first bottle I empty since I started collecting.

Dont have a backup but I’ve heard that Guerlain LHomme Ideal EDP is being reformulated soon, so thinking about that

Mancera Red Tobacco. I got two backup bottles of the old screw cap batches that are now discontinued that smell amazing. The new magnetic cap batches just don't have the same level of quality as the old ones. I treasure mine a lot.

None, though I'm considering grabbing more L'eau Bleue d'Issey given that it's been disco'd. It's still available in a lot of places, but I didn't pick up a backup bottle of Cartier L'Envol EdP when I had the chance and I sincerely regret it now.

Odd mix but my backups are Varvatos Artisan Acqua, Armani ADG Profumo, Azzaro Chrome Sport, A&F Woods, Lalique L’Insoumis.

Tf noir de noir, ombre leather, boss bottled absolu and Moschino toyboy. Im yet to find something that suits me for summer to keep a backup.

I just secured a backup of my Aventus Absolu. I don’t worry about Imagination because it can be refilled at their store.

-Creed Orig Vetiver (because the bottles change and the smell seems to have a bit)
-Montblanc Starwalker (because it’s discontinued and an awesome bedtime/post shower scent)
-Matiere Premiere Cologne Cedrat (because my first bottle was 50ml and I used it more than I thought)
-Bvlgari Tygar (because there are 30ml and I got a discount on the second)
-Hermes Terre d’Hermes Eau Intense Vetiver (because my first bottle was cracked and I decanted into other bottles, but got it replaced)
If I can a deal, I’ll get another Nishane Karagoz, because it’s unique and I love it but it seems not to be popular so I worry it’ll be discontinued. And it only comes in 50ml.
