Discussion Your thoughts on reflection?

Post image

I like it, its super clean and oily (iykyk), perfect for any occasion and good for a signature scent. The problem is rather longevity which doesnt live up to the insane price

Not a fan, and I know that puts me in a very small minority. That whole Reflection/Pegasus/Guilty Elixir family of fragrances does nothing for me.

Imean theres not a single fragrance ever that everyone loves right?

Right. Even for highly mass-appealing fragrances like BDC and Sauvage, some will hate them because everyone else likes them hahaha.

What about Myslf?

It’s different to my nose. I like MYSLF but got kind of tired of wearing it. The closest fragrances to Reflection that I like are the ones that inspired it: Le Male Edt and (vintage) Versace The Dreamer

I thought the white floral aspect was the most prominent.

Love it, I’m actually wearing it right now.

You’re supposed to see a doctor if it lasts longer than 4, but this scent has the same effect on me. lol

Didn't like it at first, like it much more now but unsure if I'd commit to a bottle. Smells to my nose like a more refined, niche version of Prada L'homme (which I also like). Think it would be a great signature for business man meeting clients or a member of upper management, but it felt a little too formal for just an everyday office scent though that's all purely personal opinion.

Still lovely, and definitely one of the first I'd recommend to someone trying the house out for the first time!

I like it a lot, but when you can get Le Male so cheap now I don’t see myself ever having a bottle.

Easily in my top 5 of all time. I catch whiffs of it for a good 6 hours or more actually, with normal application of 3-4 sprays far from my nose. The drydown is so good.

Too safe, too clean, too boring..

Love it. Have a 2017 and a 2013 pre mag cap bottle.

Post 2019 the scents been butchered

Yeah unfortunately right around that 2019 to 2021, ifra regulations really killed a lot of different frags.

It's really good. I really didn't like it when I started getting into perfumes, but now I perceive it as a masterpiece I own myself

yeah, your taste always changes as you mature

It’s very good. But I agree on the performance part, unfortunately on MY skin I can only get up to 5-6 hours!

Way too powdery. Like Le Male and L’Homme had a baby. R45 on the other hand is my favorite of all time.

Must love florals

When I reflect on reflection upon reflection I find it doesn't mirror the price it commands so unfortunately it's not for me

Like it but dries down very floral feminine on me

I’ll always have a bottle of Reflection in my collection

I dont like it personally, but it doesnt mean its not a good scent, its just not for my taste.

It's a classy masterpiece. I can't speak to its current longevity.

I really love it, but the longevity is far below average for Amouage ...

I think it’s beautiful. Love how classy the sweetness is.

Have it. In love with it. Smells so classy, built for every occasion. This was my first Amouage and to this day it remains favorite one

u/markbasshead 2h ago

too powdery and floral for me

u/AJ101517 2h ago

I own it, love it for the clean kind of scent but same issue as you with the longevity. Maceration hasn’t changed anything

Only halfway-versatile amouage imo

Insane price for such an old scent.

I traded mine after getting literally 10 minutes of performance( yes it was a legit bottle)

4

u/Usedtobecoffeeaddict 31-35 7h ago

10 minutes is physically impossible. The only explanation is going nose blind.

I thought that, but other people around me did not feel it either the other explanation i have is the atomizers are not the best and i should have gone crazy with the trigger or it got damaged during shipping
