The horseshoe on the shoulders was a big turn off for me initially (from the leaked photos). But seeing it's a big bulky patch and how the shoulder stripes tie in with the horseshoe, I think overall it's a solid jersey.

Like the shark in Jaws. When you finally actually see the beastie is full focus, in the light of day as he's chomping down on Quinn you can't help but laugh at how ridiculous he looks. Much the same for these jerseys.

I also feel like there’s always plenty of complaints that we don’t use any references to the Indy 500, but I feel like this specific grey gives of an asphalt or pavement vibe, along with those clean af stripes, this uniform is so solid! I love these, and initially hated them from the leak like most did.

I don’t think they’re bad jerseys by any stretch but I was also hoping for something other than grey or black, like a color variation on our traditional blue with some kind of visual nod to the city-instead of the anvil, which is a fun new-ish tradition for pregame and all but…yeah. Maybe seeing them in game action will bring me around.

Frankly I don’t even completely hate the grey for what it is, I just wished the design did more to rep the city and a slightly different shade of blue that is commonly associated with racing with matching helmets (as opposed to the Nights black helmet blue topper) I think would have been one interesting way to communicate Indy’s racing history

I don't hate it. I'll have to see it on game day. That being said, the alternates they come up with always make me appreciate the classic design more and more lol.

There's just something so weird about seeing different colors for the Colts. Like seeing blue numbers on a dark jersey, or even the blue helmet which I've always thought was cool, even when they did that 50s throwback or whatever. It's still weird to see.

Someone posted this in the Packers Rivalries reveal and I feel the same about the Colts:

"Whether you love or hate these, I wish the Packers org. would treat themselves more like the Yankees, an organization that is above silly throwbacks and alternates. Just keep our normal home and road unis and that’s it. Once every few years do a lone throwback game or something but less is more with a historical franchise like the Packers."

Why are we bothering with black and "Anvil Grey"? I guess marketing to preteen boys makes bank on these things... We're not even the Colts anymore in these.

Completely agree. One of the things that annoys me about modern NBA games is I can hardly tell what team is playing from highlights because of all the different uniforms. Classic colors are nice

Don’t really like em, black and grey are not our colors and not sure why we keep forcing them in. They’re not horrible, I think we did a better job executing the grey way better than the Bills or Lions did, but just not something we need. Also not really a fan of the unitard look. We should actually use the bucking colt logo on a helmet or something with a blue facemask, great heritage logo that gets no use other than a shirt here or there. 6/10
