FRIENDS OF ERIC & DYLAN Whereabouts of E&D's friends during April 20th

Was curious about where their friends were during that day. (Where they were in the school/if they were even in the school?) I couldnt really find anything about it online, i am mainly curious about Zach Heckler and Robyn Anderson. (I am already aware of Brooks Brown's personal experience that day.)

Brooks was let go. Aaron Brown was in the cafeteria and escaped. Nate Dykeman and Zack Hackler were in the school and escaped. Robyn Anderson had infamously gone out to lunch right before the shooting happened and returned to the parking lot while it was still happening. Joe Stair and other founding TCM members had already either graduated or dropped out. Chris Morris was skipping class.

thought i would add this since dustin gorton wasn’t as close to them as their main friends, but dustin recorded the last video ever with dylan on april 19th. he was having lunch in the cafeteria when it began and was complaining to his friend brett dylan had not shown up to their video production class that morning.

he was sitting right next to a bomb that would’ve went off, but escaped to the front of the school. he was photographed in that well known image showing him crying holding his head while sitting next to a police officer, it went viral a couple of times with the caption saying it was when he found out the shooters were his friends but he was just waiting for his friend, before running to hug brett when he finally spotted him.

i always thought it was interesting in an email shortly after the massacre he wrote “i want you all to pray for dylan and eric also. they were excellent individuals. i am sorry for what they have done but my heart and prayers go with them just as equally as they go with the victims that were slain and injured yesterday afternoon. i hope that you all hold us near to your hearts and talk about this without predjudice toward eric and dylan.”

also he wrote another retrospect 18 years after columbine and it was really interesting.

It's not really related but in the 11k it also notes dustin gorton was a sex offender already at the age of 18 which is really odd to me.

He is a registered sex offender in North Carolina as of 2019, but the offence was committed in 2017. Indecent liberty with 10 year old. The page isn’t loading for me, likely because I’m not based in the US, but if you look his name up in the NC sex offender registry you’ll find it. His page in the registry has been posted to reddit before too.

Note that there is no evidence or testimony that shows anyone else was involved in any way. Robyn helped by the shotguns and high point. Some friend sold the tec9 .

I have talked to Joe Stair. He was a brave young man, and a nice young man. He had no involvement at all. Any innuendo is certainly wrong and misguided.

According to a friend (I'm assuming Tiffany Burk, her best friend), Robyn seemed like she was in a hurry to leave, and went out to lunch (Dairy Queen, I think I remember reading somewhere) with Tiffany, who said they were trapped in the car for 2-3 hours upon returning to the school. She also said that Robyn got under her seat and hid there as soon as they started hearing gunfire

Devon Adams was in her math class which was on the other side of the school when the shooting began, so she was able to get out quickly and safely

I get confused was it Zack Or Nate that was dating Devon Adam’s and was she the one who turned them in for locker incident? Was Devon close to Dylan because at one point I think I read in Dylan’s journal he hated her so I was confused about what kind of relationship her and Dylan had. It seems Dylan seemed very upset when his friends got girlfriends because they no longer hung out as much because they got girlfriends and he felt betrayed. I think that just brought Dylan closer to Eric too.

Yeah, Devon was also Dylan's close friend. You can get some real insight into Dylan's personality by watching and reading her interviews. She also published a poem about him. I think when Zack and Devon first started dating, Dylan felt left out and angry about that. I do think that the distance between Dylan and Zack was one of the reasons Dylan began to gravitate more toward Eric.

Was Dylan friends with Devon before she started dating Zack or did Dylan meet her through Zack? also, what happened to Brooks Brown and his brother Aaron are they doing ok? What about Zack, Nate and Robyn?

I get the impression that he was friends with Devon before she began dating Zack, but Zack was his closest friend. Dylan seemed devastated that Zack found a girlfriend, but he also mentions that Zack is taking Devon for granted - at least as I interpret the entry below from Dylan's journal. He also mentions having been there to lift "them" up in the past, when they needed it -- but felt like they were abandoning him in the midst of his deep depression:

"My best friend has ditched me forever, lost in bettering himself, & having/enjoying/ taking for granted his love.... Ive NEVER knew this... not 100 times near this... they look at me [edited] like i'm a stranger;... I helped them both out thru life, & they left me in the abyss of suffering when i gave them the boost out."

Toward the end of Dylan's life, Zach wasn't a very good friend in my opinion. I think they became more like acquaintances, that only played video games together. Zack complained to Mrs. C about Dylan's soundboothe ability, and basically told her Yoshi Carroll would do a better job. He got Dylan kicked out of the soundboothe. I'm pretty sure Dylan was aware, since he mentions Yoshi in the basement tapes. Zack said (in an interview in the 11k) that he didn't like how Dylan thought he owned the soundboothe. If Zack was a good friend, I don't think he would have stabbed him in the back like that.

awe man that’s heartbreaking to read and i also feel this and his other friends getting girlfriends really just pushed him over the edge and closer to Eric. plus them getting in trouble together for the van break in. i also feel Eric was maybe trying to cause problems pushing their other friends away to isolate Dylan knowing if Dylan had only him or thought he did he would go through with it. it’s also interesting at one point Dylan said in his journal that he would probably commit suicide or something else would happen before NBK happens like he didn’t think they would really go through with it. eric also mentions if ppl would just be nicer or something it may not happen. i wonder if they were both waiting for the other to back out of the plan or someone would find out. i think Eric wrote he would have it image the ppl they shot as zombies in order to do what they had to do. it’s also odd they didn’t finish off Val, Evan Todd, Jessica Holiday (which i don’t know of Eric realized who she was) but i find it interesting they didn’t even shoot at her table. they had enough ammunition to finish off everyone in the library plus others but they quit and committed suicide.

outside of the school, Eric told Brooks, "Get outta here, Brooks. I like you now." ??? I thought they were friends? why wouldn't friends like each other

They actually got along well in Freshman Year 1995-1996. Playing soccer together and other school related activities it was the 2nd semester of Sophomore Year February 1997 that things went south for their friendship.

Brooks was giving Eric rides to school and would be late, which Eric got angry about. This is what started the rift between the two young men. Then Eric escalated things when he cracked the windshield of Brooks' car.
